Fledgling Photos Keep Coming

I got a little behind pulling photos off of the primary BirdCam and was last night confronted with 1,024. I waded through the first 500 and pulled out some real jewels. Here's one that caught my eye, and which I believe shows a feeding behavior of a Carolina Wren chick. I am quite certain the wrens had a successful fledge, as the family group expanded to three in the past month. I can't tell the birds apart at this stage except as, in the photo, some behavior enables a distinction. The wrens are showing signs of getting another nest going, so J.W. (Junior Wren) is going to need to get some independent thinking developed very soon. For now, this is a delightful look at the end of the wren springtime of innocence.
