Raiders of the Peanut Butter

It was certainly a busy day at our feeders! Low temperatures and light rain kept the birds busy, and when I watched from the sunroom the main station looked like an over-busy airport. Seed was popular, suet mobbed, and even the peanut butter good its share of "raiders." Today's photo count from the BirdCam tells an interesting story:
Northern Mockingbird (16)
Brown Headed Nuthatch (15) (shown)
Carolina Wren (9)
Gray Squirrel (6) - did not get in!
Carolina Chickadee (6)
Tufted Titmouse (4)

Notice that all this traffic is concentrated with just five species, and that the Brown Headed Nuthatches nearly dominated the lot. This feeder is probably the #1 haunt of these "Squeaky Toys". It should get interesting as other species, as expected, join the fray. Can't wait to see what happens among the raiders then.
