Splish Splash...Patter Patter

This is a highly entertaining photo, and I thought to share it with all of you. What are we seeing? Of course, two American Robins at the pedestal bird bath. My strong assumption, based on all of the other bird bath photos I see of Robins, is that the bird at right has just splashed some water on itself. Why funny? Notice the background. At that time it was raining during a thunderstorm. To be sure the rain might not do the best job keeping vermin down. But all the same, it's a hoot to see a bird taking a bath in the rain. Perhaps I am easily amused...? Enjoy!
