Stuck on Stupid
It is just possible that squirrels are the dimmest of the extensive rodent kingdom. Beavers can construct amazingly durable dams. Chipmunks are masters of the grab and run. Even rats have the good sense to flee a sinking ship. But our poor, wretched Gray Squirrel... well, see for yourself. I have enclosed this peanut feeder in fine, durable steel cages for a long time. No squirrel has succeeded in penetrating this fortress. And yet the idiots persist in mounting assaults. Futile assaults. The score is 0, 0, 0... ad infinitum, ad nauseum. This, dear people is not a sign of sure intelligence. This behavior is so absurd and brainless that I have even taking to naming this squirrel "Chumley" (inspired by an equally clueless young man on a certain popular television series.) I'd feel some pity if they hadn't pilfered so much seed and suet over the years. So stay stuck on stupid, Chum. It's only going to entertain us now!
