Okay Jay

Now and then during the year, we see Blue Jays.  Mostly in Spring.  Never Many.  The one roaming about now doesn't seem to be causing any stir.  I wouldn't be surprised if this one is an unattached male hoping for a little provender in a tough time.  And if so, that's fine by me.  The Jays don't ever seem to be too aggressive here, too greedy, nor too particular.  (In contrast to the grackles on every count!)  And like the usual experience this jay may not be seen much for the bulk of the summer.  As Jays go, that's okay.  Have fun, my blue friend.

I've been enjoying a bjay's antics. He found he could visit my porch and de-bug the moths that were resting; after a night of buzzing my porch lights.(obx)
Happy to see my funny catbirds have made it back, as well!

Hello Woodduck!
I must find a way to inspire this Blue Jay to do that work here! That sounds like a hoot to watch!
