Hermie Still On the Premises

The jury may be out on the departure of the juncos, but there is no question our winter resident Hermit Thrush has not made its spring migration.  BirdCam snapped this photo of "Hermie" a little earlier this week.  The Hermit Thrush has been a delightful guest, one who has developed increasing skills at the suet feeders.  I worry a bit that each winter will be its last, and so I try to enjoy the bird's antics to the last.  I am fairly certain Hermie will be leaving very soon.  April would be the latest it will stay.  Too soon!
