Pine Warblers Back in View

The dietary needs of the Pine Warblers must be a good deal greater these days, for our friends are making more conspicuous visits to the suet feeders these days.  I went a good while in late winter hardly seeing any, but I now have pretty good odds of seeing one whenever I look outside.  The PWs should be doing pretty well with insects, but I suppose that with likely young it helps to have a dependable protein source handy.  Presumably by mid summer they will hold off and work the loblolly pines and we'll seem them a good bit less.  We're enjoying the view now of these attractive creatures!
