First Juvenile of the Season

I can now be certain that at least one nesting effort was successful this year here at Cary BirdCam. Photography by the BirdCam at our ground level bird bath yesterday revealed this Robin youngster. It spent a good part of the day at the bath, and I have several reasons to believe the Robin nest was very close to that location. None of the adult Robins showed up in this set of photos but I have seen them at the secondary feeder tree's suet basket to the left of the bath -- and they've worked that one hard enough that junior was probably getting handouts that way. We're watching for more juvenile sightings as the spring comes to an end.
