Well, There You Are!
To be honest, I almost forgot what they look like. But I have seen a Ruby Throated Hummingbird again. It only took about two weeks of pointing the BirdCam at the nectar feeder to obtain one single photograph of a hummer. This female is plainly still in the neighborhood. But they are not making it easy for me! I suspect that part of the issue is camera sensitivity: I always pick up fewer photos than I know are possible. Some of the issue is also availability of natural food sources. Those are in plenty! But the important thing is that we still have hummingbirds...and there is a lot summer left!
