A Fine Birder's Library
On this Independence Day, finding the outdoor temperatures at 100F (such is life in Central North Carolina in summer!) I ended up doing some reading in the midday head. I've started a new bird-themed book (Snow Geese by William Fiennes) and remembered how valuable I have found a web site dedicated to books about birds. That would be the very fine Birder's Library operated by Grant McCreary. He has posted reviews and information about titles for some years, and I've found some excellent books he's spotlighted. Birder's Library also has a Facebook page for those who like the social media sphere. Take a look!
