First Hummer Photo of the Season

Is it always May when I capture my first image of a Ruby Throated Hummingbird?  It certainly seems so!  And indeed, only now do I have the first picture from the 2014 season.  This time, however, I have a photograph of a bird in its natural setting, enjoying the nectar from a native wildflower (Coral Honeysuckle) instead of the artificial nectar feeder put out by humans.  I'm delighted this female already knows all about the honeysuckle that only started flowering this spring.  I expect and hope to have an even better selection in the years ahead!
