Really Fine Images from Bird Cam Pro

I have been running the BirdCam Pro for a few weeks here and already the image quality is dazzling me.  Even a shot like this, cast in arguably inferior light, provides sharp imagry and nice action.  Notice the water droplets flung off by this House Finch as it raids the ant moat for a drink.  There were definitely much finer photographs but in this batch not nearly any as fun.  I'm enjoying the use of the improved BirdCam and feel the need to try some more rigorous experiments.  We'll see how those go!

New BirdCam Pro Gets To Work

It is another exciting weekend!  Of course, it is fall, and that's pretty good stuff.  And there is the NFL (especially good for the Panthers today).  But this is an extra special weekend because a brand new BirdCam model begins its "see trials" here.  I acquired a new Wingscapes BirdCam Pro.  Let me tell you, this is a huge leap over previous technology.  The casing is more compact, the controls are much more user friendly, and the flash has been considerably improved.  Even image quality has been enhanced with a fourth level of resolution.  I can't wait to see how the technology translates into images.  I am certain I will be enjoying some fine bird photography in the weeks and months ahead!
