User Error Spoils June

When it rains, it pours! And this past month, I have just had user errors in torrents, proving that even with a product as easy to use as the BirdCam that there can be bad days. Just in June alone I have forgotten to turn the camera on, locked my SD card, picked bad camera angles, overlooked high summer sun, and targeted dead zones (bird-wise). And yesterday was something of the bottom of the barrel, as what should have been a perfectly aimed and focused survey of a platform feeder was marred when my feeder tree shifted in the wind and a tube feeder blocked the view most of the day. All in all, I have had crummy sessions on twelve of the past twenty two days of June. My bag: a mere 20 keepers (compared to 43 last month.) Sigh. One gets back on the horse and keeps trying. Perhaps July will make up for this run of bad karma.
