Yesterday saw something of a break in the recent pattern of weather: instead of a hot, humid, overcast day we experienced a hot (95 degrees), humid, and
sunny day. The explosion of sunlight was enough to bring out waves of birds to the ground level bird bath. This well-saturated Brown Thrasher practically lived there all day according to the BirdCam time stamps. Gray Catbirds and American Robins were also frequent bathers. We also saw visits by American Cardinals, Mourning Doves, Carolina Chickadees, Rufous Sided Towhees, and House Finches. It will be more of the same today, and the BirdCam is already set to check in on the splashin'-around fun.
