As winter begins to set in it is high time to bring back the food choices I keep out in the cold times. I have been putting out white millet already which has greatly interested the juncos. And this week I put up the peanut butter feeder that was so attractive to Eastern Bluebirds, Yellow Rumped Warblers, and Pine Warblers among others. I figure to let the calendar advance to December 1 before I put out the last of the trio---peanut pieces. None of these foods seems to be particularly well used after April, so I have learned over time to put them away and let the sunflower seed and suet do all the talking in the warm months. But now---let the food revels begin! We shall see who comes to dinner.

Adding Enticements for Winter
