Injured House Finch Still With Us

I reported Saturday that a female House Finch had a window impact but appeared to survive. The good news is that she still looks to be among us. Photos taken over the weekend show one female who unquestionably suffered an injury of some kind to the head. And these photos were recorded up to six days after the window incident. Based on the positions she assumed I am reasonably certain she has use of both eyes, so perhaps all that is needed is a little healing time. I'm pleased as can be she made it, although I am still troubled that despite my precautions the incident occurred at all. Thanks to BirdCam for providing this reassuring evidence!
