My devoted readers know that I am performing tests on the new Wingscapes BirdCam 2.0 but have had some challenging issues with light. Many of my first weeks' photos have been plagued by blur, washout, and darkness. To be sure we had one of the rainiest and overcast Novembers I can remember, so the camera has been disadvantaged. I am sure that fabulous imagry is possible with the Medium resolution setting, as proved yesterday. The lighting was ideal for a spell and even this male House Finch wanted some sunglasses! Today's forecast indicates lighting should be good all day, so I upped the resolution back to High and we will see what comes. I am eager to take advantage of the full 8 megapixel capability of the product.

Enough Light For You?
