Baby Blue 2010

We've seen our Eastern Bluebird fledgling here and there. Finally I have a photo of this attractive young bird. As is so typical for me, I have not pinned down where the nest was, but there are opportunities throughout the neighborhood. I am intent on making sure I get the nest here in 2011. I've obtained what I need to build a nest post in an open section of the property, which the punditry tells me is more likely to get results than the nest boxes I put up on the tree line. For 2010, we will enjoy the Bluebirds as they are, and perhaps this fledgling will start that nest next year.
