Lost Grosbeak, Again

Back in 2007 I happened quite by accident to spot a Rose Breasted Grosbeak (northbound) at the feeders. It hung around for two days. Since then, I've yearned to see another but have been greatly disappointed. Saturday brought me a brief and frustrating glance of a southbound bird. I opened the garage door, spotted the unmistakable Grosbeak, and before I could grab camera lost it to the high trees. I gave that feeder a good look through much of the day but never saw him again. And BirdCam images of a back yard feeder (the same one shown) yielded no Grosbeaks either. Arrgh! lost again! So all we can hope for now is a chance migrant in the spring. And perhaps the front yard feeder is sufficiently visible to a hungry Grosbeak. Please!
