Bird Bottle Moves Again

Some years ago I was gifted with a "bird bottle" manufactured by the artisan potters of Colonial Williamsburg. It's based on a historical design and is in use at Colonial Williamsburg. Mine has gotten a yawn from the birds no matter where it was situated. Today I gave in and installed the blasted thing on the house, as is suggested by the Williamsburg people. My goal is to induce Carolina Wrens to nest here. They've been persistently interested in my garage interior, hence I chose a nearby exterior wall that will get a good deal of shade. As to whether this try will get results? I won't know until March. More as we learn it!
