Getting Crowded Out Front

The Megatube has become a very hot spot in recent days, and I'm finding myself adding even as much as a half a pound of seed every day to keep it topped off. Cause? Finches, and lots of 'em. Happily, these are not new moochers, only relocations from the more obstructed (read: anti-squirrel) tubes out back. I couldn't care less as long as the squirrels aren't getting part of this action. BirdCam hasn't spotted one up here yet, but I am unconvinced this happy state will last for very much longer. Is the front yard the finches' happy place? We shall see.
