Bad news. I spotted more than a few feathers at the base of the newest feeder tree and launched a BirdCam investigation to see what's up. We found this unpleasant little brute on camera. This neighbor's cat has been nosing around the house for too many years, and now it's plainly struck gold. And, I am now sure some killings I chalked up to a hawk are this kitty's handiwork as well. Looks like I need to research anti-cat technology (and bioweapons) and see if I can reduce the problem. If any of you have great ideas along this line, I will be delighted to listen. America must be made safe for the birds!

The Lion Does Not Sleep Tonight
