Clear Under the Dome

As the snow falls for the first time in the Triangle (Good Grief--only December 4th?!?) I am reminded of my foresight in equipping my various feeders with weather domes. These plastic bowls shield the feeders from rain and snow (keeping seed etc a little drier) but also giving the birds a little cover from the elements as well. Another sales point: the squirrels tend to have problems getting past them. It has been nice not to have to clear snow from feeders when the white stuff is at is worst! I'm hoping this weird early snow is a minor nuisance, but at the least it will be absolutely no issue for the feeder crowd.
