Thanks to the kindness of the good people at Wingscapes, I am armed with a fresh new BirdCam 2.0 that we all hope will perform like the star it was born to be. My last unit (operating since November '09) suddenly developed a disturbing appetite for batteries unrelated to the settings in use. The new camera arrived yesterday and will be set up tomorrow or Saturday for my final run towards 100,000 BirdCam pictures (a date that will occur in 2011) I definitely am giving this fine product a trial! Perhaps, just perhaps, I am going to be their first customer to prove arrival at such a landmark. And I have put the camera through as demanding a field test as any suburbanite can think up. Let's Try Again!
