Weather Domes All Over the Place

The latest addition to the fleet arrived Friday, care of the local Wildbird Unlimited franchise. The pictured platform feeder was simply too large for the 12" Aspects weather domes I use all over the place. Result: seeds and suet nuggets easily ruined by rain. I'd hunted for something larger and all of the models had the wrong connector--being made for tube feeders with their particular hangers. It turns out my dealer had one of these huge 18" products buried in the back room. My feeder station definitely looks like some weird Jupiter Two city with twelve of these Aspects domes in place! But every one keeps the seed out of harm's way, yielding less moldy mess later. And I am sure the birds don't mind getting out of the rain and snow, either. This should do it on domes: now time to fix other problems...
