All-New Wackiness

Yes, the photo is blurry. But do you see what's going on? It's all-new behavior by our friend the American Robin. Evidently Mr. Redbreast has discovered peanut butter, but his physique is not quite up to the job. Not being a good percher, the bird can't get a hook on the protective cage, and thereby must find a way to hover and thrust. They first started this trick with the suet feeder and over time one or two get some results. I'm not sure the robin has the hang of this one yet, but in enough time anything is possible. Wasn't there something about monkeys, typewriters, and the collected works of Shakespeare? It's a howl to watch...and the fun has only just started.
