Hawk Update

As expected, I am seeing (and hearing) quite a lot from the office park Red Tailed Hawk. He/she -- I am not sure which -- is actively hunting our ~15 acre site. It's maintained vigil on light posts, as shown in this photo taken yesterday. And I've heard its piercing scream twice. As for prey, I have no firm evidence but mice and songbirds would be prime suspects at that location. Having this neighbor provides some teaching moments and I have introduced co-workers to the world of this interesting creature. Evidently the hunt is ongoing! I remain alert...
