Lots of Nuthatches

There is a power in peanuts!  At least, if one wishes to attract Brown Headed Nuthatches.  These little devils can be fickle feeder visitors.  But generally, once they get a steady supply of the tasty beans they will stick around.  Every photo run I've taken of the peanut feeder going back into September shows the BHN's with fair frequency.  That's pleasing to this nuthatch watcher.  I find the "squeaky toys" very appealing and entertaining.  Combined with the heavy White Breasted Nuthatches at the nearby suet feeder, we are enjoying a fine nuthatch circus.  Now, can we add the elusive Red Breasted Nuthatch to the party?  We can only hope!
