Names For Miscreants

Note to readers: I am home under the weather today.  What has been posted may be the byproduct of certain over the counter products.

When one is home feeling poorly, one has the chance to watch birds.  When one is watching birds, one usually sees squirrels.  When one sees squirrels, one starts to see more squirrels.  And when one sees more squirrels, one gives them names.  And name them I did.   But we need catchy names.  "Kim" and "Michael" simply will not do.

We start with "Chumley", the #1 squirrel.  He (and it is a he, I know) is named in honor of the clueless young man at that Las Vegas pawnshop in a popular television program (or the original, a dumb cartoon walrus).  Nearby, is "Dudley", named in tribute to the cameo character in the Harry Potter novels who is a decidedly dimwitted Muggle.  And #3? We need to recognize the female squirrel who is out there stirring up triouble.  With the help of what little I know of popular culture, I dub her "Lindsay".

I found two more squirrels today.  And reaching into my "MST3K" database (extra points if you know that one) I come up with these squirrel-worthy monikers:  Pinky -- an "Animaniac" and Homer -- the Simpson.  There are of course many more names for these nasty little beasts.  And I will be fully prepared to name them.  Hopefully not.  I've seen enough for one day!
