Suet Starting to Go More Quickly

Around these parts, suet is a largely spring favorite.  I see fairly low consumption in the late fall and the entirety of winter.  And sure enough, as the spring comes into force, suet cakes are vanishing at an accelerated pace.  My assumption is that birds building nests appreciate the easy energy they can get from these nutritious bricks.  And of course, when young are fed, consumption is at its peak.  The suet stations get heavy visitation now from the various woodpeckers, bluebirds and Yellow Rumped Warblers.  And it won't be long before the Gray Catbirds arrive which are notorious suet eaters.  So the surge begins.  I have a whole case in stock...and that won't last long, I suppose.
