Bluebird Box Update

Readers can be assured that I have eagerly been watching our bluebird-box-on-a-stick in hopes of seeing nesters, especially having had such a smasheroo outcome in 2011.  But nothing yet.  However, I think we are getting close to that time.  It was mid-May last year when I first observed activity in the box that ended up becoming a bluebird nest.  It is now clear that March and April are too early for this particular box.  It must need more daytime sunlight that early spring affords.  The test will be whether birds switch to the box this May, for their second or third brood.  I can hardly wait!  More news as I see it...
