Cardinal Mayhem

For whatever reason, 2012 has seen a great deal more Northern Cardinal aggression in this neighborhood--against rear view mirrors.  Up and down the cul de sac, vehicles now sport bags and towels over their mirrors.  The auto owners (all of whom park outside) have been exasperated with hyper-aggressive cardinal males.  The poor fools don't understand the concept of mirrors.  All they are programmed for is attacking other males intruding on their turf. I figure this behavior won't last too much longer.  And then it will be a good deal safer for me--bird feeder at large--in the neighborhood!
