And Then There Were Two

Talk about a fine weekend!  Turns out I not only have seen my first White Throated Sparrow of the winter season---at our bird bath today.  But another visitor to the same site was a male Yellow Rumped Warbler.  These are also winter birds for the Piedmont and are now the second confirmed species sighting of a winter migrant.  I don't expect to see YRWs at the feeders any time soon: they are confirmed natural foodies for the first few months.  But they are on the property and that's good enough for me.  And now the search for Juncos begins.  Word is they are in the county now...
