First White Throated of the Season

Whilst laboring on an extension of a flower bed today (despite the windy reminder Hurricane Sandy is not really all that far to the east) I heard a new entry in the winter gathering.  The bird is the White Throated Sparrow, and they are not in our area between May and October.  What I heard was a tentative "O Sweet Canada Canada Canada": that very distinctive song that brightens our hearts in wintertime.  This, if we exclude the migratory American Robins, is my first confirmed winter species on the property.  I'm eagerly awaiting more arrivals.  Juncos?
