Busy Little Devils

It is endlessly entertaining to watch our resident Carolina Wrens.  They're everywhere, poking and prodding at every crevice, corner, and surface in search of invertebrates.  And of course they are regulars at the suet and peanut butter feeders, scoring extra protein.  Adding to the fun is that they defend their territories all year and thus are singing and scolding whichever is warranted at the moment.  You understand that scolding is the "music" reserved for my entrance into their domain.  We do enjoy our wrens and look forward to some lazy afternoon follies provided by these energetic little devils.
