Parking Lot Predator

I have spoken about the various "offerings" at our office park -- most notably, so far, Black Vultures, Song Sparrows, and Blue Grosbeaks.  We also have our share of hawks, and this Red Shouldered Hawk -- a first year--  has been attracting attention.  Plainly there is some prey afoot, although the bird's juvenile status suggests that our parking lot is not a prime piece of real estate.  I've long suspected the adjacent field is thick with cotton mice and other little hawk meals.  And who knows, maybe there are reptiles in the wetter places.  It will be interesting to see what happens in the next month or two.
