Still Hangin'

It's astonishing, but we still have a hummingbird, hours into Autumn.  In fact, I just spotted the little devil again.  This male is undoubtedly a migrant but one that just doesn't see the need for speed getting south for the winter.  Pickings are good, more or less.  I did break down feeders, but two nectar feeders are still active.  And there are some flowering plants in my yard.  Every sighting is now quite special for it may be the last.  And surely before the week ends even this bird will decide it is time to make the long trip to Central America.
