Limited Warblers

Yellow Rumped Warblers are very common winter birds here, but sometimes not that common.  Case in point is 2013-14.  The YRWs are around but one needs to wait a spell before spotting one or two at the feeders, at least thus far.  I wouldn't be too surprised to see their activity pick up into February as other food sources dry up, and to see the birds get rather more aggressive at favored feeders.  But right now neither seems to be a concern.  That's fine.  I remember getting highly annoyed at these characters by the end of winter and wave good bye with fair enthusiasm.  For now, they're an interesting sight.
