A BirdCam Video Application

The Wingscapes BirdCam produces decent quality digital movies, but they’re necessarily short things---just ten seconds each. They are wonderful means to see and hear birds moving and interacting, but what to do with them? After I accumulated a number of these short movies, I hit on the idea of stringing them together with Microsoft Movie Maker and -- to amuse myself -- adding a classical music soundtrack and title cards. In no time at all I created several “films” of between three and six minutes on different feature birds or locations. I uploaded these to Youtube and over the last few months added others to the collection. It’s a fun way to share one’s birds with friends and family. See my seven movies.
