A Corner Lot Shangri-La

A year ago I started building up a second feeder station in a lush, quiet corner of our backyard. I'm up to four feeders, a ground level bird bath, and a trellis for the Trumpet Creeper that grows there but has had no place to go. Behind the station is an extremely tangly area, and so this has become a popular development for Northern Cardinals. I did not do especially well here in 2008 with the BirdCam; what days I took photos there was seemingly little bird activity, especially with Hummingbirds. But as time has gone on this little paradise has become well established and perhaps we can obtain some fine images in the 2009 round.
