Quite The Watering Hole

I remember as a child seeing vivid images from the wildlife television shows filmed at watering holes in Africa and other places. It was always fascinating to see a mixture of many species of animals in that one place. Such thoughts occurred to me as I reviewed the latest batch of BirdCam photographs taken at our ground level bird bath. I am seeing an increasing number of species I had never before seen at our pedestal bath. For example, there is this male American Goldfinch who came by (as documented by another photo) for a quick drink. This bath is fast becoming a hot spot in our backyard for the birds, and a fantastic place to take wonderful pictures.
