Playing Ebenezer Scrooge

Yes, I am playing the role of Scrooge. Before the ghosts came. The subjects in question is squirrels and peanut butter. I am agreeable to giving them easy access to sunflower seed. But one pesky rodent has found a way to my peanut butter feeder despite my earnest efforts. So a visit to Ace Town and Country gave me more ammo in this fight. The feeder is now suspended inside a cage that will let birds in, but supposedly no squirrels. A similar design on two tube feeders has been entirely successful. Can they get in? Time will tell. This new set of obstacles will hopefully be my Christmas gift to both them and some birds (for different reasons!.) Let squirrels run wild? Bah, humbug!
