The best benefit of owning a BirdCam is capturing those priceless moments from the world of birds. Over the past two years I have had my share, and shared them on the Wingscapes Photo Gallery. Today's photograph will surely be one of my all-time favorites. When I put up the enclosure around my peanut butter feeder (to keep out squirrels) a few weeks ago I wondered if the larger birds might be squeezed out as well. Not to worry, as I discovered that at least the Northern Mockingbirds quickly sized up the situation and could enjoy a treat. Until now, I hadn't captured that in a photograph. BirdCam was there for a fantastic picture. The bird is portrayed perfectly, even down to that very determined look in the eye. So--you out there without a BirdCam. What are you waiting for? These moments are out there waiting to be enjoyed.
