I just finished downloading and viewing 391 BirdCam photos taken at a tube feeder in the past two days. Score: 4 with actual birds, maybe 20 that are blank (no wildlife), over 367 featuring this nasty little varmint. This female tree rat seems to have been on the feeder from sunrise to sunset. And all the time, trying, one supposes, to be "cute." This is proof that Mother Nature is a mean old coot. When thieving, insolent pests like squirrels are gussied up in cute little fuzzy packages with those big black eyes and perky little ears. This is a mean, rotten trick. And I don't appreciate it.

I had to "lock" my suet feeders (with twisty ties) this past week because these critters figured out to open them!!
They ARE cute though...if only they would stay on the ground!!!
