
Yesterday brought us the installation of a new feeder station: a modest affair with one tube and one suet basket relocated from the main post. They're hanging from this Wild Bird Unlimited "Advanced Pole System" (well, the photo preceded the feeder relocation, sorry). And wouldn't you know. Within three hours of doing this, my ever-gluttonous finches found the feeders and started chowing down. Great glory! I am impressed, having decided that these birds are a little slow adding items to their database. The next question becomes, when will the squirrels spot that sunflower tube, and will they beat the baffle? Stay tuned.
