It's been nearly a week since I made an effort to arrest cat attacks on my front feeder station (more precisely, the birds at said station). We took advantage of the idea that cats "pussyfoot" and that sharp, prickly material laid in their path would discourage them. This incredibly nasty plant provided the thorns, and I have not seen the least sign of cats ever since. I am heartily recommending the use of thorny matter to anyone with nearby cover. It's a chemical free, non toxic remedy -- safe for us, the birds, and the cats as well. As said, I stuffed thorny matter under the low branches and also in the "bed" the cat(s) used as a waiting spot. Hope you have good results, too!
