The window box, such as it is, is up and the entertainment has been considerable. So what's fun here? That would be Tufted Titmice. These characters have been using the box as a personal feeding station, only vying with the occasional Chickadee. It's a scream to see them fly in, poke around furtively, select a sunflower seed, glance back and forth nervously, and then hightail it to a nearby tree. You'd think they were cat burglers they way they carry on. So far the Titmice aren't too bothered if we're sitting in the sunroom although they won't tolerate us getting too close to the window. I start to wonder if I shouldn't put up more of these very inexpensive boxes on other windows...and spread the fun around.
