Double Trouble

The Wingscapes BirdCam is a wonderful tool! It captures some exquisite moments in bird life that I might otherwise miss. Take this one... I've seen the Bluebird Twins a couple of times, but never with both so clearly begging for a bite. It's so funny on both the level of the patient and beleaguered bird being beset by baby blues (alliteration!!) but also that there are tasty suet nuggets right there for the taking, and neither juvenile has any concept of plucking one for itself, yet. The BirdCam also suggests the begging "shake" the babies will do (as seen by the left hand fledgling.) All I know is that I wouldn't want to be in that male Bluebird's um, feet, as it deals with these two very hungry offspring. Twice the trouble!
