A Corvid Circus

Tell ya what, it rarely gets dull here. These days (amidst the waves of juveniles) we've had a mob of House Finches, a full size family group of Common Grackles, and now...the first order pest from the ranks of the Corvids. I rarely see Blue Jays...well, before this month. Now a Blue Jay comes by regularly enough to be photographed. I'm somewhat nonplussed. I have a fair respect for the Blue Jays, and by and large they don't do as much harm as popularly imagined, and.. well, the food tap will be shut down soon for a time, so I imagine this fellow will be moving on early in July. It's sure interesting to see them so active so suddenly. But we don't want to push that...too far.
