Sneaking Around...Again

We don't see Common Grackles very much here (for which I am thankful) and even when we do, I typically see only one bird (sweet!) It is that rare occasion...one's around. The sneak is a skulker, not coming into the feeders much. Or I'll spot him lurking on a nearby tree branch. In a few days it will likely be gone. As to why I see so few birds, and why the grackles only make the shortest of raids escapes me. In a way I enjoy the game...now you see me, now you don't! Will our friend be here tomorrow? when will it reappear for a bite or two of suet? Only the master sneak knows. Or perhaps it knows not.
